Example Two-Day Itinerary

Day 1:

Morning: Start your day by visiting the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center to gather information about the park, its trails, and current weather conditions.

Late Morning: Drive along Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in the United States. Marvel at the stunning landscapes and make a stop at the Many Parks Curve for breathtaking panoramic views.

Afternoon: Explore the Alpine Visitor Center and take a short hike along the trails to experience the alpine tundra environment. Keep an eye out for wildlife sightings in this area.

Evening: Head to the town of Estes Park for some relaxation and exploration. Visit the downtown area for shopping, dining, or simply enjoying the picturesque surroundings.

Day 2:

Morning: Embark on an early morning hike to Dream Lake. The trail offers stunning views of Hallett Peak and Flattop Mountain.

I will show you great locations, and make suggestions on composition and subject matter. I can even help you with your camera settings if you are a beginner. After sunset. we will take a brief break for a snack and to get set up for night photography while we wait for the Milky Way to emerge.
