Our tours are different from most. Yellowstone Safari Tours has been in Jackson Hole for over ten years now. During the over one decade of business, tours include simple explanations of the geological landscapes in both Grand Teton and Yellowstone. According to TripAdvisor reviewers, our tour guides have been exceptionally knowledgeable. Our Excellent Reviews in TripAdvisor and Google combined are more than 100. In about 2016 we copyrighted self guided tours for both Yellowstone and Grand Teton & it was sold by TripAdvisor & Expedia. To us tours are more than seeing wildlife, even though that is very important. Therefore it includes a better understanding of animals, flowers, trees, earthquakes, hot springs, fumaroles, geysers, mud pots, lakes, waterfalls, etc.
After your tour, it is difficult not to write an excellent review. Because you will go away understanding at least a few things you always wanted to know about the two national parks.

MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS AND LAMAR VALLEY stand out in the upper loop of Yellowstone, because of their volcanic and glaciation history. Every hundred years or so, the hot springs migrate from one spot to another and always leave behind calcium carbonate. You could hike up the travertine terraces. Sometimes elk hang out in the village unafraid of people.

Lamar Valley could have been carved out by glaciers thousands of years ago. Now what is left behind is boulders that must have also been moved by glaciers. You will see them strewn around before you get to Lamar Valley proper. The soil in Lamar is suitable for lush grass that you will see. And that attracts bison, pronghorn, elk. But it also attracts wolves and Grizzlies that want to have the other animals previously mentioned for meal.

Besides these two attractions, you will also see Tower Falls as well as Calcite Springs which oozes with super hot sulfuric oil. With time left, we shall take you to the petrified tree.
